I met with Dr. J-B a couple of days ago, and I can’t wait to get started. She gave me a printout of the suggest resources from the website of the exhibit.

My job, should I choose to accept it….is to go through the list, determine the titles we own at IUB, and create a list, with prices, of the titles we don’t have, so that they can be purchased. Seems easy enough. This message will self-destruct in 10 seconds…

But seriously, folks. It was a good meeting. I am just getting my feet wet. Things are in their beginnings as far as the exhibit goes. All that is definite is the fact that it is coming. The committee members have been selected (I get to see a real library committee at work!!), and have been contacted. But that is it. Dr. J-B isn’t even sure if the funding will be there. But its coming.

We are supposed to have an approximate number of hours per week that we work on our internship. Since the stuff i am doing is on-my-own work, I can set up my own schedule whenever I want. As of now, I have decided on the 2 hours each day that I have between jobs/work: 10-12. Knowing myself and my general work ethic/motivation, I know this will not stay this way. I will probably end up putting it most of my time on friday/saturday/sunday and giving myself a rest between everything else. I hope i can at least keep it up!
