I am still reading. It has been three weeks (granted, three weeks during which I was taking L651, therefore I had minus 10 hours a week to do anything but read about collection and service evaluation; also, I have embarked on a major research undertaking as a result of this class, which has caused an unnecessary amount of stress on top of it all!) I am having difficulty moving quickly through this reading, especially since so much of it is dry (AACR2r, LCRIs, LCSH, SCM, etc.) I also can’t seem to remember from day to day what I have read, and I am not retaining much of what I read. But, I will continue to have access to these materials as I move into actual cataloging, so at least I will know where to look for the answers to my thousands of questions!

Next week I will begin working with the CDs and desperately trying to remember what I am supposed to do and why!
